Côte d’Or, as well as the Heuneburg, counts as one of the best researched princelyseats in the early Celtic western Hallstatt zone. In 1953 the late Hallstatt grave of Vix was discovered. Das Bleigewicht aus dem Hofareal der Fürstin von VixDer Mont Lassois bei Vix, Dép. Côte d’Or, zählt neben der Heuneburg zu den am besten erforschten Fürstensitzen imfrühkeltischen Westhallstattkreis. 1953 wurde das späthallstattzeitliche Fürstinnengrab von Vix entdeckt. Les épées nord-alpines au Ha A : typologie et chronologie

International audience; Alors que les épées à poignée métallique du Hallstatt A, essentiellement représentées par les épées dites à fusée à trois bourrelets (« Dreiwulstschwerter »), se comptent par centaines entre l’arc alpin et le Danube ainsi que le bassin des Carpates, à peine plus d’une vingtaine sont connues dans la partie occidentale du continent (France, Belgique et Pays-Bas). Ce contraste explique en partie les différences constatées entre l’état des recherches sur ce type d’arme en Europe centrale et centre-orientale, région relativement bien étudiée, et en Europe occidentale où aucune synthèse n’a à ce jour été produite.
